Since its foundation, the CMC Group has grown into a global company with international production and sales locations on the basis of sound expertise and experience in the cosmetics, medical and hygiene products industry.

  • 2005

    Over 150 years of experience

    The traditional consumer goods business of PAUL HARTMANN AG is spun off into CMC Consumer Medical Care GmbH with the aim of further expanding the expertise in cosmetics, medical and hygiene products with a specialized team, also with regard to consumer solutions.

  • CMC Turkey

    CMC Consumer Medical Care GmbH is expanding its production capacities for absorbent cotton and hygiene products with a plant in the free trade zone in Mersin/Turkey.

    CMC France

    CMC Consumer Medical Care GmbH creates the basis for international growth by establishing a sales office in France.

  • CMC Iberia

    CMC Consumer Medical Care GmbH is responding to international growth by opening another sales office in Spain.

    CMC Consumer Medical Care GmbH spins off its traditional production site for nonwovens and cotton wool-based hygiene products into a separate company.

    CMC Consumer Medical Care GmbH is expanding its Sontheim site by 700 square meters and 30 new office workstations, including modern laboratories, to accommodate market growth.

    CMC Consumer Medical Care GmbH expands its state-of-the-art cotton swab production by moving into a new production building.

A total of more than 600 employees work at our headquarters in Sontheim/Brenz (D), our international sales offices in Sélestat (F), Barcelona (ES) and Mersin (TR), and our production sites in Düren (D) and Mersin (TR).
